One cool and beautiful morning and as the tradition demands, by 5:00am the family devotion starts. The devotion that day was unusual, the presence of God was so strong. My parents and siblings Were all roped in but there i was on the cushion sleeping. We continued and finally the devotion ended. As i went hither to my room, something jolted in me.
I realised that, i have missed God. He really did came but for those that Were prepared. My heart wasn’t prepared so i missed him. Friends, most times we miss out of communion because of the unpreparedness of our hearts. 2chro 12:14 presents to us a king that deliberately refused to seek the lord. No Wonder he couldn’t go far. Even the pharisees couldn’t be helped because they hardened their heart.
They refused Jesus(Mark-3:5). There’s a preparedness of heart the lord relishes. An emptiness that draws his filling grace. We don’t know the day of our visitation. Our divine moments are not repeated was lost.
Elder ZAC positioned himself where he could see Jesus. I find that’s worthy of emulation. Prepare your heart to seek Jesus. Only those that search for him with their whole heart shall find him. Jer-29:13. He has been knocking at the door of your heart but still you aren’t responding. If you hear his voice please harden not your heart. Jesus loves You. Just Come as you’re.
God bless You.
