Be Available!

Sometimes ago, for some genuine reasons, Gloria couldn’t go to work for days. Her boss had no other trusted clerk to work in her absence, so the door was locked.

Then one faithful morning, she returned. That day was so bright. The sun was glaring her Brightest light, the birds chirping, and the flowers all beamed in surpassing beauty. The smile on people’s faces made her more bemused. “Did I miss an episode”? She raised a question.

After the routine of cleaning the place, she slipped into the plastic chair beside a rectangular-shaped wooden table. ” I’m set for work,” she said giggling. Soonest, customers started trooping in, and before she could call it a day there was an influx of sales.

“How was it when the door was closed? Does it mean, customers came and returned empty because no one was here”? Her traveling thoughts raced and landed her into the scripture and she understood a dogma.

God too comes, fully packed with goodies to give us. Goodies of grace, mercy, favor, love joy, and peace. The very presence of heaven comes down to us but so hurting, he finds our door locked and he goes back.

Be open, and available because divine moments are not repeated. Baba will always come, are you available? Bethel will not happen twice, don’t let the angel return without changing your name. God longs for communion, his soul craves intimacy, are you available?

Don’t be unwise, discern the times, he wants to take you out. Be Available!
