He’s an enemy!

There I lay tired and all I wanted was sleep. Nothing else matters to me even though my siblings kept shouting “You’re missing out Joy. This episode is fire, all I can see is fire.” they chorused one after the other trying to make me change my mind.

But it was rock solid, “I’m not coming.” I whispered.

I was lost in the warmth of my thick blanket forgetting the world as a whole and even the movie that I introduced the whole house to. It’s a Korean Movie, “Dare to Dream.” and trust me even Dad and Mum couldn’t help but join the watch. Oh, yes, it was that interesting.

My eyes were closed and I was in between sleep and wake fullness when a mosquito flew and made a melody in my net. “Oh, my goodness! Where is this coming from?” I screamed.

I tried chasing it out but I couldn’t find it. I made an opening to see if it would fly away but it didn’t. I then realized that maybe when I made my bed and fixed the net, the mosquito too checked in.

“Oh no!” I cried. I struggled for hours with trying to get some sleep and getting rid of the mosquito. It was like a big black bag of trouble.

Hey, dear reader, your life here on earth is also like making a bed and fixing your net. But you’ve got to be careful because some unwanted elements may slip in.

I never knew this mosquito flew in and became a nightmare. Sin too is so slippery and may have gained a foothold ever before you realize it.

Be vigilant the enemy needs no invite to visit. He’s at the door and will enter at the slightest chance he gets.

Don’t let HIM in. He’s not a friend but an enemy that’s his name!
