The rainbow showed up today

displaying her typical shades of colourful panoply

it made the sky glow in unique elegance like a

dark chocolate skin of a charming princess in the middle belt

The stars peeped and the moon heaved

The birds chirped, and my brain ticked

The sureness of God’s divine promise came alive,

And my pen could only bleed as I let out his sighs,

“Never again will I destroy the earth with a flood”!
