“Master, master let them go, please. We’ve got nothing here in the wilderness to feed them with,” The disciples cried out. That day’s crusade was massive and the people were a multitude.
No guys, “give them something to eat,” the Master said and the disciples became more perplexed. These people have been in attendance all day and after being loaded with the spiritual meal, Jesus thought it good to send them away filled with the physical meal too.
One thing led to another and a lad showed up. “Hey, look here, I’ve got five loaves of bread and two fishes,” he said, with a delightful smile.
Jesus looked up and gave thanks. The disciples couldn’t believe their eyes at the end of the day when these great multitudes were fed and extra baskets were left.
Giving them something to eat is a command to obey from the Master himself. How well have you been feeding those around you?
You may be thinking but what do I have? The multitude is great. But hey, like that young lad, can you come to Jesus and say, “Master, I’ve got something little here.” He will give thanks and guess what, it will be just enough!
People should not come near your life and go back hungry and unchanged. Give them something to eat.
Jesus is asking you today, what do you have dear one? You just give him what you’ve got, He is a multiplier, an equipper of weak vessels. He will make what you’ve got just enough.
Hurry now while He is yet on the mountain.
The nation is waiting, your people are tired and weary and it’s high time you feed them with the sincere milk.
Hey, give them something to EAT!
