Sonia lives off campus in a comfortable self-contained apartment and she had everything she needed as a student. She always had light and water, food and money which are the basic needs of students.
Sonia had nothing to worry about and she was always almost okay. But one day, life happened and the comfort was stripped away. The source of the light and water she enjoyed was damaged and she continued for months without it.
The experience tasted like sour grape.
She never imagined that she would buy water having paid for it in her apartment. Sonia however began to buy and became used to the noble profession.
One day the woman who sells at the front of the house asked, “why you de always fetch water like this my pikin. Every day you go pass like twenty times?” the shop owner said.
“Mama no mind me, I just the refill. I no want make the water finish all from my bowl.” Sonia replied.
How often do you refill your tank? Sonia understood a principle, a process of refilling.
She discovered that if she defaults for a day the water in her tank will go down.
Do you remember what God’s instructions were to the priests in the book of Leviticus? “Let the fire on the altar never go out, keep adding wood to it day and night.”
That’s the same principle you should live by.
Don’t be content with where you are now.
Don’t be content with the knowledge you’ve got.
Don’t be content with the little you’ve known. about God.
Don’t be content with your achievement so easily, there’s more. Keep refilling, learn till you breath your last.
Don’t settle for less, there’s more that’s found In Jesus. Keep refilling.
